dvisory Boards are a vital part of the Future Talent Council ecosystem, and research investment methodology. Advisory Boards are specialized units and working groups of thought-leading global talent professionals, all individually nominated for participation via an assessment process based on specialized skill, experience, knowledge, and ambition.
The inherent attributes of a Future Talent Council Advisory Board is a global perspective, strategic outlook, and cross-sector approach. The ultimate objective of Future Talent Council is to help improve human opportunity and capability around the world.
Future Talent Council initiates, develops and operates Advisory Boards on focus areas relevant to the ecosystem of member organizations, and for the benefit of talent worldwide.
Each respective Advisory Board will initiate its work by observing, mapping, and analyzing global megatrends, accessible data sets, and available case studies and research materials. While also participating in facilitated group sessions allowing all Advisory Board members access to, and insight into, each respective fellow board members’ strategic outlook, market outlook, learnings, insights, and ambitions.
Future Talent Council directs all Advisory Boards to move with pace towards pragmatical work, aiming for tangible output. Historically such output has been ranging from Op-Eds, research reports, co-authored books, policy proposals, open-source strategic toolkits, and similar.
Once a participant is confirmed for a Global Advisory Board, he or she will go through an interview with a Future Talent Council analyst, covering the role description, strategic interests and learnings, and market outlook. The information is compiled into an internal report, which is distributed back to the full board; allowing each member access to all fellow participant’s outlines.
The internal report is the foundation of an introductory 1-hour virtual Advisory Board meeting. The Chair and facilitator’s ambition with the initial session are to determine, based on the report and follow-up discussions with the group, realistic and tangible targets for the group for the following 6-12 months.
As a member of this Global Advisory Board you get access to an exclusive, and committed network of world-leading global colleagues, case studies, data sets, and strategic discussions. Advisory Board members will, once approved by themselves at every instance, be titled “Co-Authors” of all material published based on the work conducted by the Advisory Board.
